Biography

Kelsey Apple, MCT, MCPD, IBM CAI

Kelsey Apple has been a consultant and educator for over 20 years.  Kelsey Apple has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer and an IBM/Lotus instructor since 1995.  In that capacity, she helps organizations identify their training requirements, builds customized technical education plans, transfers knowledge through her teaching skills and writes courseware to meet the customer’s requirements.  Her goal is to make sure an organization’s employees understand the latest technologies by working with and mentoring individuals of any knowledge level.

Mrs. Apple has over twenty years of experience in computer software design, development, support, training and project management.  She is an IBM Certified Advanced Instructor (IBM CAI), a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer for Enterprise Applications (MCPD), and a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).

Mrs. Apple has taught classes to and consulted with a variety of clients in numerous industries.  Her vast technical experience and commitment to her profession has made her a well respected instructor in the Information Technology Industry and earned her IBM’s most prestigious Dr. James H. Adair Award for Instructors worldwide in 2003.  Also in 2003, she was nominated and became a finalist as Woman of the Year in Technology at the Annual TopCat Awards which celebrates the Top Contributors to the Advancement of Technology in Central Ohio.   In 2006, Mrs. Apple was awarded IBM’s Outstanding Customer Satisfaction Award which recognizes the instructor that is consistently sought after and requested for by name.  In 2010, Mrs. Apple was awarded the Welcome Warehouse Founders award for her contribution to the Dublin, Ohio community in creating a technology plan for Welcome Warehouse, overseeing the architecture and design of their website, and developing a Multilingual Computer Education Program for the organization as a volunteer.  Some of the courses she teaches and mentors organizations on include:
